Landscapes Move Me
The poet, Elizabeth Barret-Browning wrote "Earth's crammed with heaven, And every common bush afire with God, But only he who sees takes off his shoes; The rest sit round and pluck blackberries" ... and there's the challenge. I need to walk past the everyday, and see the wonder in it.
It will be apparent that I take a very broad approach to what is landscape. I love the forms of the world in which I live, whether they are rural, urban, sea or cloud. I will even present landscapes in a portrait format.

Most of my images are made within a day's drive of my home in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. I have a strong affinity for any scene that includes still water. I like towering clouds, and red and gold sunrise and sunsets. I rarely get out of bed in time for sunrise, though.
